Výuka se zaměřuje na postižení základní jazykové teorie (užívání spisovného jazyka) v projevu mluveném i psaném. Výuka je doplněna četbou textů rozšiřujících slovní zásobu studentů a umožňujících praktické využití slovních obratů. Předmět je určen pouze studentům ÚVSRP.
