Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of microeconomics, such as market and exchange, consumer preferences, theory of firm, types of different competitive environments and behavior of companies in them, as well as factor markets and the state and its role in the economy.
Learning outcomes
- identification of basic microeconomic variables - quantification of consumer behavior and activities of companies at the market - characteristics of different market structures - description of markets of production factors and their specifics - analysis of state behavior and its role in the microeconomic concept
