Basic knowledge and skills in the field of educational communication.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Exercises of Social Communication for teacher follow the lectures of the course, where topics are developed theoretically followed by practical learning in exercises. In exercises, students will map their own experience with the effects of personality on the specifics of communication and learn techniques expanding verbal and nonverbal communication. In addition, students learn in the workshop to practice active listening, guidance counseling interviews, effective communication and conflict resolution and group work with group dynamics.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction to social communication, individual outputs.
    2. Mapping the influence of personality on the specifics of communication.
    3. Techniques for developing verbal and nonverbal communication.
    4. Practice of active listening.
    5. The development of empathy.
    6. Effective conflict resolution and management of aggression.
    7. Practicing counseling interviews.
    8. Training communications group, working with group dynamics, psychological games.
    9. The development of communication skills using video training.
