Degree programme specification
The graduate is able to independently provide individual nursing care and support to children of all age groups. He/she is able to carry out a visiting service, evaluate the home environment from the point of view of ensuring the healthy development of the child, provide advice and assistance in the areas of hygiene, breastfeeding, nutrition, defecation, provision of a mandatory vaccination plan, preventive examinations and dispensary care, prevention of accidents, domestic violence, bullying and addiction in childhood. She participates in births, performs the first treatment of newborns, including the possible initiation of resuscitation, and educates mothers in the care of newborns. It assesses the child's current state of health and biopsychosocial and spiritual needs in all age periods.
The graduate is able to methodically lead and organize educational care for children of all age groups, develop programs of educational care and educational activities, recommend environmental modification, suitable toys and educational aids.
