After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to:
- perform all activities of a health care professional with professional competence according to Act No. 96/2004 Coll. and Decree No. 55/2011 Coll.) and the WHO European Strategy
- care without professional supervision for children, adolescents, adults and the elderly for acute and chronic health disorders, somatic and psychological problems, who are cared for in or outside hospitals
- introduce and implement measures to improve the health and prevent disease of individuals, families, groups
- collaborate with professionals to coordinate and perform professional tasks in a multidisciplinary and professional team
- perform all examinations and treatments ordered by the physician
- take nursing history, assess patient needs and design nursing care plan including follow-up assessment
- evaluate the results achieved in the change in the client/patient's condition following the implementation of planned nursing care
- detect the suffering and difficulties of the client/patient, to accompany in dying
- participate in research in a multidisciplinary team
