  • Learning Outcomes

    Upon successful completion of the programme, the graduate is able to:

      • use in practice the acquired knowledge of work activities in organisations implementing social policy and institutions providing social services
      • use in practice knowledge of contemporary theories related to social policy and social work recognised in the international context
      • use the procedures learnt in the field of social security to assess citizens' entitlements and deal with individual social situations
      • link the theoretical knowledge acquired in the various fields and apply it in practice at all levels of public administration
      • develop their own opinions on individual problems in accordance with the applicable legislation, reflecting their ethical dimension and communicating with clients accordingly
      • use the acquired competences for teamwork, to promote their own opinions and at the same time respect the opinions of other team members
      • make use of foreign language resources to acquire up-to-date knowledge in order to perform his/her profession, graduate understands lifelong learning as an essential part of his/her profession
      • apply acquired knowledge of the organisation and structure of public administration and administrative activities in practice
      • make use of the expertise acquired in relation to the procedures of administrative authorities in dealing with citizens' social affairs
      • link the acquired theoretical knowledge and apply it in practice in the application of modern management methods
      • have the prerequisites for management, methodological, conceptual and analytical work in the social field at all levels of public administration
