After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to:
- apply theoretical knowledge in professional practice using modern information and communication technologies;
- the ability to introduce and operate professional methods of work organisation at the top level of operations management in basic, regional and specialised libraries, information centres and other types of workplaces providing information facilities;
- apply modern methods of designing, developing and implementing acquisition operations, document identification and subject description and manage document production;
- building and managing primary and secondary information collections in all types of libraries and information centres;
- communicate in English, with an emphasis on the use of industry-specific English;
- solve specific professional problems in the field of computer science, philology or a combination of these areas on the basis of a framework task.
