Upon successful completion of the programme, the graduate is able to:

• The graduate has reliable knowledge of the Italian language system, as well as knowledge of linguistic realia, literature, history, and culture of Italy;
• With emphasis on practical applications, individual language skills and grammatical and lexical knowledge are developed and reinforced;
• In the area of communicative competence, it enables achieving the corresponding level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
• A good theoretical foundation is created for perfect understanding of the Italian language system;
• The graduate is provided with a solid foundation for master's studies in Italian.
