Educational Care for Seniors

Upon successful completion of the programme, the graduate is able to:

• master theoretically the basics of the theory and practice of education of the elderly, including their care, with an emphasis on modern educational methods and forms of work
• apply basic knowledge of pedagogical, psychological and sociological sciences in solving problems of education and training of adults and seniors in broader aspects
• organise and lead activation projects and educational programmes or courses for the elderly
• apply a differentiated approach in the offer of educational services
• plan the development of seniors' competences, including personality cultivation in accordance with the development trends of the field
• orientate in contemporary conceptual documents and trends within the Czech Republic and EU member states concerning seniors
• manage the continuing education of older adult participants and seniors based on their competence and needs
