    After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to:

    • explain at a basic level the concepts of general pedagogy, special pedagogy, psychology, including selected concepts of medical disciplines
    • describe at a basic level biological conditioning and social determinations in the broader context of human personality development and formation
    • list the key conceptual documents and legislative provisions guaranteeing the process of school and social inclusion of people with disabilities and disadvantages in the physical, psychological and social fields
    • describe the symptoms of disability in the context of educational and social communication
    • characterise the specific features affecting learning processes
    • describe the results of a professional examination in their own words
    • apply in practice the procedural schemes of counselling services within the relevant departments
    • implement the process of orientation of special education diagnosis in order to optimise the complex development of people with disabilities in the physical, psychological and social fields
    • formulate critically the conclusions of the diagnostic process of an indicative level
    • propose a basic construction of the conditions of inclusive education
    • search for appropriate information sources in order to apply modified methods and forms when working with children and pupils with special educational needs as a teaching assistant
    • prepare and professionally lead special education training, prevention, education and activation programmes for the personal development of persons with disabilities in the physical, psychological or social field
    • use knowledge from other disciplines in multifaceted special education intervention activities to describe, analyse, interpret and evaluate typical special education phenomena and situations
    • modify approaches in order to remove disincentives and factors in the learning process
