This article aims to examine the changes of the visitor attendance from Russia. Examined are causes and consequences of changes in the approaches of the selected target market. The article used the methods of analysis and evaluation of the available data from secondary sources, interview with tour operators, accommodation and spa facilities, applied is method of prediction the future development due to reduction of Russian tourists to the impact on the economy. Increase in revenue from tourism related to the growth of foreign visitors and tourists from Russia make up a significant part. Presented measures are spa facilities to attract affluent Russian clientele not only in Karlovy Vary. Mutual appeal of visa requirements between Russia and the European Union would roughly double the number of Russian tourists in the Czech Republic.
