Anotace
The article deals with the problems of the foreign economic policy of the European Union. The aim of the contribution is to show the necessity of changing the strategy towards Eastern Europe, Turkey and Iran in view of the new role of India. A specific object of interest is the creation of a group of "disinherited states". In our view, these are countries that have become the target of systematically introduced sanctions. At the same time, their official goal is declared as an effort to change their behavior or the entire social system. Specifically, we selected the states of Belarus, Iran, Russia and Turkey. The article tries to point out the errors in the approach of the European Union, which do not lead to the achievement of the goal. On the contrary, they lead to mutual cooperation between these countries. As we also show, in a specific case, there is support for the activities of another emerging economic and political power, India. The consequence is the loss of important economic space and thus the limitation of further prospects for the development of the EU.
