Die Monographie Textinterpretation unter gattungsanalytischen Aspekten stellt Ergebnisse einzelner Forschungsvorhaben vor, die sich unter der Berücksichtigung der gattungstypischen Merkmale mit der Analyse von literarischen Texten beschäftigen. Es handelt sich um eine Sammlung von Beiträgen von Magisterstudentinnen und -studenten am Institut für Fremdsprachen der Schlesischen Universität Opava, die im Rahmen des Projekts SGS/12/2023 entstanden ist.

Monografie Interpretace textů z hlediska žánrové analýzy představuje výsledky jednotlivých badatelských počinů, které se zabývají analýzou literárních textů s přihlédnutím k žánrovým specifikům. Jedná se o kolektivní monografii zahrnující příspěvky studentů a studentek navazujícího magisterského studia na Ústavu cizích jazyků Slezské univerzity v Opavě, jež vznikly v rámci projektu SGS/12/2023.

The present volume Text Interpretation from the Perspective of Genre Analysis is the eighth collection of essays of M.A. students from the Institute of Foreign Languages at the Silesian University in Opava that is funded by the project Student Grant Competition SGS/12/2023. The monograph provides an excellent platform for the development and exchange of ideas across generations of philologists. The papers are largely based on previous conference presentations. As in the previous volumes, there are two main sections, English and German, introducing the authors in alphabetical order. The papers address the issue of the 21st-century approach to text analysis.
