N2  - The article highlights the issue of implementation of methods to improve the course of processes in a business system using a dedicated IT application. The problem of correlation of the method modifying unit costs, fixed costs and the time of individual processes was discussed. Correlation was performed for each of these cases in order to analyze optimization opportunities in a business system. In addition, the costs of implementing the accepted methods and their impact on the final financial result of the entire improvement procedure were taken into account. The appropriate pseudocode was introduced to illustrate the way a simulation model of the process was created. The results were presented in a descriptive, numerical and graphical way. Possibilities of application development were discussed.
