Abstract

V originále

We can understand the preparation of the population for civil protection as basic knowledge and practical training with the use of means of individual protection. Individual protection is understood as an additional way of protecting the population. It mainly belongs to anti-radiation, anti-biological and anti-chemical measures. It serves to prevent the chemical effects of dangerous substances and their physical, toxicological and biological properties. As part of the teaching process, it is possible to use the means of individual protection to teaching the subject more interesting and attractive. For this reason, students get to know this material during the exercises. The supporting part of the article is the results of the students' opinions on individual different types of gas masks. Criteria and a method of calculating how it is possible to use the opinions of students to compare subjective feelings when using old gas masks and modern ones were also created. Understanding the need to find out the opinions of interested persons will enable students as future crisis managers to make better decisions in which both objective and subjective criteria will be taken into account. It is the consideration of objective and subjective criteria that can improve the level of safety and the very quality of life of the persons in the organization.
