This exhibition, presented at the newly opened National Centre for Legal Innovation in the historic heart of Bragança, focused on the link between art and human rights and the creation of a deeper inclusive intercultural connection. It is affiliated with the 2nd year of the BIP (Blended Intensive Program) Creativity for Inclusion and with the TIG Arts and Creative Industries (TIG Arts and Creative Industries) of the STARS EU program. Art, in its many forms, has historically been a powerful tool for the promotion of human rights. It can act as a mirror of social injustices and oppression and challenge them in more or less complex ways. I exhibited here one of the works created during my stay in Bragance in May, which was specifically in conjunction with TIG Arts and Creative Industries. It was a video made (in collaboration with Marcus Ramusy de Almeida Brasil) in a hostel for Brazilian university teachers, reflecting on postcolonial issues.

Tato výstava, uvedená v nově otevřeném Národním centru pro právní inovace v historickém středu města Bragança, se zaměřovala na propojení umění a lidských práv a na vytvoření hlubšího inkluzivního mezikulturního spojení. Je spojená s 2. ročníkem BIP (Blended Intensive Program) Creativity for Inclusion a se zájmovou skupinou pro výzkum v oblasti umění a kreativních průmyslů (TIG Arts and Creative Industries) programu STARS EU. Umění je v mnoha svých podobách historicky mocným nástrojem prosazování lidských práv. Může působit jako zrcadlo sociálních nespravedlností, útlaku a více či méně komplexním způsobem je zpochybňovat. Vystavila jsem zde jedno z děl vzniklých během květnového pobytu v Bragance, který byl spojen právě s TIG Arts and Creative Industries. Šlo o video natočené (ve spolupráci s Marcusem Ramusyem de Almeida Brasil) v ubytovně pro brazilské vysokoškolské učitele, které reflektovalo postkoloniální tematiku.
