The guided tour presented the results of the archaeological excavation carried out at the former Lower Brewery Courtyard in Opava, revealing evidence of settlement from prehistory to the Early Modern period. The main focus was on the Late and Final Bronze Age and the lives of communities belonging to the Lusatian Urnfield culture. Visitors were introduced to significant archaeological finds, particularly a unique pair of wooden ards, which rank among the most remarkable discoveries of their kind in the Czech Republic and are exceptional even in a broader European context. The first part of the tour took place directly at the excavation site, while the second was held at the Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Philosophy and Science, Silesian University in Opava (Masarykova třída 37), where original archaeological finds, including the wooden ards, were presented. 10. 6. 2026
