Course objectives
Students will be informed about basic terminology, the history of textual media, and will learn to use them.
Learning outcomes
The students shall be able:
to read a printed critical edition
and to prepare an edition of any literary work or document.

  • 1. Manuscripts and books, its historical status and transformation. Economical mechanism and book law.
    2. Author, his historical status and book law.
    3. Theoretical and practical skills by publishing of literary works and documents. Corrigenda.
    4. Typography. Basic terms and rules.
