Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with Czech studies as a scientific field.
Learning outcomes
After graduation, the student will be able to: - distinguish the main and general areas of scientific work, such as citations, ethics of science, practical advice on standards and methods of elaboration of seminar and final theses - describe Czech studies in relation to memory institutions - apply basic information sources for scientific and literary life.

Scientific journals and publishing houses. 7. Literary life. 8. Information sources in Czech studies I. (sources and publications). 9. Information sources in Czech studies II. (libraries and archives). 10. Citation (citation ethics). 11. The most important literature and other sources. 12. Student work (form and requisites). 13. Repetition of basic concepts
