Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students not only with the basic principles of dramatic text and theatre art, but also with DRAMA as the THEATRE TYPE, where the two phenomenons from the title of the course are inextricably linked; they really cannot be understood elementally without the recognizing and realizing of their correlation. Attention will be also paid to other theatre components and their mutual relationship. An integral part of the course is a presentation of crucial personalities, works and events of theatre history, too.
