Course objectives
The course develops and deepens the understanding of the history of Czech literature from the beginning of the national revival in the late 18th century to the late 19th century through the interpretation of selected literary texts.

    Mácha, Erben and Czech romanticism
    Generation of Máj
    Writers connected with Ruch and Lumír
    Novels at the end of 19th century
