Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide an overview of recent computer science, its history, its position in science and society, solved and unsolved problems and new trends. Nowadays, computer science overarches many disciplines; we demonstrate their genesis driven by open problems, and their results in hardware, software and theory. New trends as the artificial intelligence, new technologies as the nature-inspired computing, quantum computing, parallel architectures, cloud computing, internet of things etc. are included.
