Course objectives
Theater, acting, performativity: all these and related phenomena and related concepts and problems that occur in practice and in theory, during study and in the performance of the respective professions are not separable, i.e. nor properly understandable and manageable without their foundation and starting points: this basis and starting point represents scenography, which is applied - and can therefore also be researched - on its anthropological, sociological, aesthetic and art science level. The content and goal of the subject is the investigation of human staging in a broader context, including Western-Oriental comparison.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- identify and summarize the important features of the main periods of the history of human staging (specific and non-specific);
- see human staging in a wider context (including Western-Oriental comparison);
- write an essay on a scenological topic
