Course objectives
The aim of the seminar is to teach students basic language and communication skills, conduct an interview and then process its results into the desired journalistic form (report, extended report, reportage, review, criticism, interview, commentary, analysis...). After completing the internship, the student should be able to write a newspaper report without problems based on archival sources, information obtained at the press conference and personal observation. From the same, create the text skeleton of a television and radio contribution. Write an interview with a personality (specified scope and type of media). Analyze and compare two different news programs focused on the same topic.

  • 1. introduction to the issue, familiarization with mandatory and recommended literature
  • 2. analysis of the selected news report
  • 3. preparation of a news article - topic, respondents, sources of information
  • 4. press conference, conducting an interview
  • 5. written report on the given topic
  • 6. TV report on the given topic
  • 7. written report on the given topic
  • 8. analysis of selected news programs
  • 9. journalistic reportage on the given topic in 10. analysis of selected interviews
  • 11. conducting an interview for an interview with a selected personality
  • 12. interview according to assignment
