- Course objectives
- The aim of the seminar is to acquaint students with the main features of the German professional language and with the differences between the Czech and German professional style. When working with selected professional texts, students will learn to analyze the structure of sentences and text and the meaning of terminology. Students will also get acquainted with grammatical constructions typical of the German professional style. Working with professional vocabulary will be based on knowledge in the field of word formation. The output of the seminar will be the creation of a terminological database based on work with selected professional texts.
