Posluchačí získájí znalosti o nejnovějších informačních technologiích v oblasti speciálních informačních služeb knihoven. Přednášky jsou zaměřeny na vývoj ICT a speciálních informačních zdrojů v zahraničí a spolupráci českých knihoven na mezinárodních projektech v oblasti informačních služeb. Rovněž jsou sledovány aplikace informačních služeb knihoven v prostředí Internetu.
