Information on the extent and intensity of the course: Přednáška 6 HOD/SEM. - Teacher's information
- Requirements for students the semester and classification criteria: Student does the practical training in the range of 80 working hours, which means two working weeks in the case of full time job. There is no matter whether they will work whole two week or they split their working time to smaller terms (for example only some suitable days of a week). It depends only on the agreement between them and the institution, which makes their practical training possible. In the end of practical training, the student asks some responsible person from the institution to sign and stamp the confirmation about the practical training. The students will give this confirmation to their teacher. It can be given on a paper or student can also send it by an e-mail. In that case the confirmation must be scanned in full colour. Teacher will give these confirmations to the students at the beginning of semester. The student also gives a practical training report to the teacher (maximum of 5 pages). Student should describe the institution where they worked (brief history, present state and present statistics, affiliated branches, web address, events performed in/by the institution, promotion of the library, cooperation with community and other local institutions, description of the librarian system, successful grants etc.) Student will also describe all the librarian processes and works they have seen or done during the practical training.
