Course objectives
The block of Practical language skills 3 and 4 continues the previous block of tutorials. The tutorials aim at mastering more difficult Italian grammar, developing the communication skills and further extending the students` vocabulary. The students approach the level of an independent language user. By the end of the course, the students are supposed to reach the B2 level according to CEFR.
Syllabus
  • 1.-2. Esprimere opinioni, dubbi, ipotesi, Congiuntivo presente e passato, usi del congiuntivo presente e passato nelle proposizioni reggenti e dipendenti
    3.-4. Fare gli auguri, congratularsi, fare le condoglianze e complimentarsi, reazioni codificate, Imperfetto e trapassato del congiuntivo, concordanza dei tempi al congiuntivo
    5.-6. Introdurre le notizie e reagire alle notizie attese e non attese, dimostrare interesse, Usi dell`imperfetto e trapassato del congiuntivo nelle proposizioni reggenti e dipendenti, proposizioni dipendenti in cui il congiuntivo e obbligatorio
    7.-8. Riferirsi a situazioni possibili, reagire a un`informazione, Proposizioni dipendenti in cui la scelta fra l`indicativo e il congiuntivo e stilistica o corrisponde a una netta differenza di significato, periodo ipotetico
    9.-10. Dare consigli o istruzioni, descrivere stati di malessere fisico, Infinito sostantivato, discorso indiretto
    11.-12. Il sistema verbale italiano - revisione

At least 80% attendance, 2 grammar and vocabulary tests during the semester. The course is concluded with an oral exam.
