Course objectives
This course builds on the lecture series: Selected Topics in Philosophy I. The course further develops knowledge of the philosophy of culture and values ??on issues of human existence studied philosophy in the 19th and 20 century. Attention is also paid to the influence of cultural-anthropological research.

    4. The cultural pattern A. L. Kroeber.
    5. Cultural studies and comparative mythology G. Dumézil.
    6. Structural Anthropology C. Lévi-Strauss.
    7. S. Kierkergaard as the inspirer of existentialism.
    8. Definition of basic concepts of existentialism: existence, alienation, thrownness, temporality, finitude, anxiety.
    9. M. Heidegger and existentialism.
