- Course objectives
- Great attention is paid to heraldic sources, as well as written material, then seal with links to diplomatics, palaeography and art history. In separate blocks is given to the interpretation of the development of national, provincial, aristocratic, ecclesiastical and municipal coats of arms and seals from the Middle Ages until the 20th century, with particular reference to the Czech lands. To the extent necessary foundations is interpreted Genealogy focusing on genealogical charts and the most important sources for the aristocratic genealogy and identity. The lectures are focused on the connection between auxiliary historical sciences and cultural heritage.
