- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to deepen and strengthen all the language skills as well as to master the grammatical structures of the language. The students will improve oral and written forms of the language with the professional content as well as pronunciation, listening, understanding and ability to participate in a dialogue within the frame of a given professional topic. Emphasis will be put on the appropriate choice of language means, on a wider usage of professional language in different situations and on correct performance. The students will also enrich their vocabulary with professional terminology in the area of accommodation services - reception, booking, types of rooms, and ecology in hospitality.
- Syllabus
- 1. Declension - pronouns dieser, jeder, alle. Modal verbs and verb wissen. Measure, weight and quantity after numerals. Doch in answering negative questions. Negative prefix un-.
2. Verbs with inseparable and separable prefixes. Conjugation, present tense - reflexive verbs. Present tense - unterhalten and einladen verb types. Time. Usage of früh and bald.
3. Comparison - adjectives in predicate. Comparison - adverbs. Geographical names. Coordinating conjunctions. Clauses without conjunctions.
4. Conjugation, present tense - verb "warden". Pronoun jemand. Negative nichts, niemand, nie(mals).
