Course objectives
The seminar is aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge acquired in the lectures and in the classes related to the museological and monument´s care problems. Student according to the current menu selects one of the following topics: 1 / writing essay on a given topic, 2 / managing practical task (presentation of museum collections in the partner organization, share research project of the National Heritage Institute on the base of agreement about cooperation between universities and organizations), 3 / preparing professional excursion for students of other colleagues, 4 / preparing paper for the conference, 5 / publications in professional journals, realized in the current academic year.
Learning outcomes
The seminar is aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge acquired in the lectures and in the classes related to the museological and monument´s care problems.
Syllabus
  • 1. Writing of an essay on a chosen topic.
    2. Presentation of the collections of selected institutions.
    3. Sharing professional or research project.
    4. Organization of excursions to other students in the selected monument.
    5. Participation in the conference.
    6. Publishing activities (preparation of scientific texts for publication in the journal).
