Course objectives
Lectures deal with the topics from general and historical linguistics. Students will get familiar with English terminology.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to linguistics, language classification, language functions, grammar terminology, historical linguistics and its roots, basic language changes, reconstruction of a proto-language.
