Course objectives
The proseminar will introduce crucial terminology, scholarly literature and historical sources related to the Middle Ages and Early Modern History. The emphasis will be placed on the students? abilities to actively engage with the narrative sources and to capture the key problems of the Pre-Modern Era.
Learning outcomes
By completing the course, the student acquires a basic orientation in terminology, professional literature and sources related to the Middle Ages and early modern times. They will acquire the ability to solve problems independently.

Written test. Attendance at the seminar (minimum 75%), report, active approach.
