- Students will learn to understand general typographic principles, get acquainted with high-typographic document creation tools. Learn how to work with a professional document and publication system.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to:
- describe and apply general typographic principles and rules;
- create basic types of documents in LaTeX; - Syllabus
- 1. Design of printed documents in the 21st century.
- 2. Basic concepts and work in LaTeX.
- 3. Document structure, automatic content creation.
- 4. Formatting of text and paragraphs.
- 5. Text environments, enumerated lists and footnotes.
- 6. Creating tables.
- 7. Inserting pictures, editing headers and footers.
- 8. Page layout and editing.
- 9. Typesetting of technical text.
- 10. Bibliography.
- 11. Typesetting of special documents - letter, presentation.
