Course objectives
The aim of this course is to introduce the methodology of non-invasive archaeological prospecting and the problem of interpretation of collected data. Ability to take a conscious and critical approach to the possibilities and limitations of noninvasive prospecting based on case studies, as well as their practical use in archaeological research.

Archaeological geophysics I. Magnetometry and magnetic susceptibility. 7. Archaeological geophysics II. Electrical methods. 8. Archaelogical geophysics III. Ground pentrating radar. 9. Metal detectors in archaeological research. 10. Geochemical prospection. 11. sed DNA – molecular prospection in archaeology? 12. Data intergration, GIS and artificial intelligence. 13. Problems of data interpretation.
