Course objectives
Course deals with the issue of building information flows at all levels of organization management, one part also deals with knowledge management and the concept of knowledge economy. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic principles of data management, information and knowledge management in the organization, as well as with current methods of building databases and knowledge bases in organizations using automated information systems. Attention is also paid to knowledge management in institutions and the theoretical concept of knowledge economy.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- to link the principles of information management with the main parts of the data and information infrastructure of the company
- understand the concept of knowledge economy
