- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with currently written or published in recent decades domestic prose. The discipline is not made up of systematic literary-historical overviews, but rather focuses on selected key tendencies, problems, questions, works and personalities that can be considered symptomatic, others must be omitted due to the diversity and heterogeneity of the area. Literary life after 1989 is also taken into account, consisting, for example, of the state of literary magazines, publishers and the situation in the field of literary awards.

- The student will be able to:
- interpret a text from contemporary Czech prose;
