Course objectives
The seminar focused on legislation conservation, protection of monuments, restoration of monuments and works of art in the Czech Republic and the European Union. Specifics of the Czech approach in historical context.
Syllabus
  • 1. Basic terminology
    2. The European Union as a legal space
    3. Czech legal order, legal consciousness and thinking in the past and present
    4. Legislation preservation of monuments in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic in the 20th century
    5. Decision on the protection of monuments, appeal against the decision
    6. Owner monuments, its rights and obligations
    7. Remedies in proceedings for a change of construction
    8. The basic code of law and protection of monuments
