Syllabus
  • Museology Seminar I
    Seminar topics form of practice, is a prerequisite for the successful completion of processing and presentation of the essay, topics:
    1. Museology, its meaning and concept. The history of museology in the Czech Republic from 1922 to the present. Specifics of museology at the Silesian University in Opava.
    2. The basic museological literature ( compendium, bibliographies, dictionaries, newspapers) .
    3. Basic classification of objects of cultural heritage, broken branches and typology of institutions dealing with their preservation . Naturfacts, artifacts .
    4.History museums and collecting.
    5. Museum - an institution, function, classification, rule of law in the country.
    6. Collection items in the museum. Museality , cataloging, collection and fund.
