- Course objectives
- The didactics terminology, basic and current problems in the field. The questions objectives, intentions's history teaching, the content of history teaching, a personality of teacher of history. Getting to know the different types of curricula and school levels, the basic problems of creating textbooks with contemporary Czech history textbooks, textbooks, our neighbors, or even other countries. The research textbooks. The development of history teaching in the Czech lands.

- 1. The questions of the educational process: didactic analysis as the basic method of didactics, teaching principles, forms, organizational forms, types, procedures, and methods of teaching history, types of lessons of history, structure lessons, educational media, classification, educational tests, preparing teachers for a hour history.
2. The problem teaching, teaching excursion, historical seminar.
3. Regional elements in the teaching history.
4. Use of educational technology in history teaching.
5. The European dimension in history teaching.
6. Stereotypes and history teaching.
7. Gender issues in history teaching.
8. The importance of empirical research in didactics of history, types of research.
9. The results of research of studying the historical consciousness of youth
10. State graduation in history.
