- The aim of the course is to provide students with the basic information about the history of European linguistics.
- Learning outcomes
- Students are able to: - describe the main currents of linguistic research before 19th century - describe the scientific basis of the 19th century linguistics - understand the main currents in linguistics of the 20th century - understand the principles of the philosophy of language
