Course objectives
The reflective seminar is a direct follow-up of the teaching practice. The aim of the course is to solidify and cultivate the (self)-reflecting strategies learnt by the students. The analysis and reflection of the experience takes place on the background of the gained knowledge of the teaching profession, and their aim is to support the processes of activity-oriented teaching. The seminar allows students to react to their concrete needs in their professional development, helps them to develop key teaching skills, and supports professinal teaching, which contributes to a growth of competences. Evaluation has the form of an interview and analysis of the student's portfolio and is based on the following materials: reflection of the teaching practice (analytical essay), professional diary, timetable, statistical review of the usage of the mother tongue in the English and German lessons, cooperation with mentor, action points - report on outputs and analysis of notes on lessons, and a list of secondary literature.
