- Course objectives
- The foundations of the ancient culture of thematically linked to the lectures in the history of antiquity-ancient Greece and Rome. In their students get acquainted closer with the legacy of ancient cultures (Greek and Roman Theatre, literature, evolution of the Latin language and its influence on ancient culture, etc.), with the každodenností of the ancient world (the gladiatorial games, triumph), religion. Enhance the knowledge of students in the areas of history, culture, the sciences and the arts.
- Learning outcomes
- Learn from many areas of ancient cuture and everyday life. Understand the importance of the Latin language for the development of European education. Characterize ancient religuon, ancient theatre, ancient Olympic games and Roman triumph. Name and describe the seven wonders of the world etc.
