- Knowledge of the basics of linguistic Czech studies - especially stylistics. Knowledge from the subject Textual Linguistics.

- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the methodology of complex analysis of spoken and written language.
- Learning outcomes
- Ability to assess in professional language the function and content of texts of various natures, including hypertexts. Written seminar work - a comprehensive analysis of the text according to the student's choice.

- 1. Methods of text research in contemporary (communication) linguistics 2. Interdisciplinarity in the analysis of spoken and written text 3. Factors constituting written and text, communication context 4. Texts in new media 5. Properties of analytical apparatus 6. "Monologue" versus dialogue 7. Communication code 8. Communication competence 9. Pragmatics of communication 10. Specifics of spoken text analysis I (text structure, coherence and cohesion of the text) 11. Specifics of spoken text analysis II (specifics of communication with children, seniors, patients…) 12. Analysis of electronic text 13. Analysis of audiovisual text object
