- Course objectives
- Within the course of one semester the principles of administration, management and handling of the natural-history museum sub-collections are presented including their structure, recording, cataloguing a digitalization, strategy of acquisition etc. Lessons are given in the form of oral presentations and excursions to particular departments of the Silesian museum. The students will also be acquainted with specialities of particular sub-collection, viz. botanical, dendrological, entomological, geological, paleontological and zoological. The special and popularization outputs of the research performed in the natural history departments are also presented.
