- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to present the most important destinations of cultural tourism in the Czech Republic where cultural attractions, the main motive of their visit, are concentrated. In this context, cultural attractions mean monuments (architecture, buildings, settlements), memory institutions, cultural institutions (libraries, theatres, museums, galleries), social, folklore and religious events, cultural traditions, pilgrimage sites, traditional festivals and other forms of cultural heritage of specific regions and localities. Particular destinations will be presented according to tourism regions defined on the basis of their tourist potential.

- A student will be able to:
identify the most important destinations of cultural tourism
classify particular forms of cultural heritage
define cultural attractions of destinations
use special terminology adequately
study literature and information sources
prepare and present a chosen topic. - Syllabus
