Course objectives
The seminar is conducted in the form of individual consultations of a student and the supervisor of a bachelor thesis and serves to clarify its basic theses, methodological procedures and considering the next stages of the preparation of the bachelor thesis.
Learning outcomes
The student will acquire the theoretical and practical skills for mastering the final thesis in the field of work with information sources, procedures and methods of historical work with a focus on cultural heritage, text structuring, formulating initial theses and presenting research conclusions.
Syllabus
  • 1) defining the topic
  • 2) information sources
  • 3) basic terminology and methodology
  • 4) structure of the thesis
  • 5) presentation of the initial thesis, description of the research, conclusion, summary
Literature
  • Required and recommended literature according to the topic of a bachelor thesis.
  • Povinná a doporučená literatura dle tématu bakalářské práce.
Teaching methods
Discussion, presentation of ongoing research, analysis and verification, text correction.
Assessment methods
Oral debate. Written documents / BT chapters.
