Course objectives
The course introduces students to the possibilities of creating and increasing the cognitive modifiability of an individual. In a practical way, it supports students' cognitive development, in this part it focuses mainly on: accurate perception, spatial organization, retention and constancy, precision and accuracy, visual transfer, summarization, suppression of impulsivity, elimination of trial-and-error behavior.
Learning outcomes
Development of deficit cognitive functions. Acquisition of basic ideas, names and operations. Creating motivation through habits. Creating motivation in the midst of tasks. Creating insight and reflective thinking. Developing active learning. Specifically developing in the areas of: - Selection of important, relevant information and the ability to disregard irrelevant information, - behavioural planning, awareness of steps leading to solutions, - broad mental field.
Syllabus
  • The subject is entirely practical in nature. Students work in individual sessions with worksheets (instruments) and actively participate in the activity and discussions.

Assessment methods
By its nature, the course requires regular class attendance and participation in group discussion. The output is an appropriate proportion of completed worksheets and active participation of students in class.

The course can also be completed outside the examination period.
Teacher's information
In order to pass the course, students have to pay a one-time fee for the material (150 CZK), which they will work with in class, but they will not get it at home. To be arranged by the instructor.
