Course objectives
The course forms the key competences of conceptual scientific expression of the student, the ability to work with professional literature and its interpretation. The aim of the course is to apply the acquired knowledge, skills of acquired methods and techniques in the processing of a specific problem, drafting a thesis, participating in the analysis and solution of model situations related to the solution of the final thesis. The aim is to elaborate the topic according to the approved assignment, contextualization of the problem, literature research, realization of appropriate analyses, e.g. analysis of the needs of the society and target group.
Learning outcomes
Under the guidance of the thesis advisor, the student will demonstrate the ability to:
 independent work,
 define and structure the topic of the bachelor thesis according to the approved assignment.
 work with professional literature and other sources of information (search, classify and generalise information),
 analyse and explain the context of the chosen topic,
 understand and present the current state of research in the field
 conducting a literature search using relevant sources
 critically evaluating and synthesizing information obtained from the literature
 conduct a needs analysis of the company and the target group,
 act in accordance with the ethical principles of scientific/professional work.
Syllabus
  •  Description of the problem to be worked on in the thesis
  •  objective and sub-objectives that the student wants to achieve with the thesis
  •  literature search, proposed publications that will form the core of the theoretical part of the thesis
  •  outline of the bachelor thesis, planned division into chapters and subchapters
  •  contextualization of prolematics
  •  anylitical part (needs analysis, needs analysis, SWOT analysis - depending on the chosen nature of the thesis)
  •  specifics of the target group
  •  in case of a research project - implementation of a probe (input information for setting up the research methodology).
  • In the preparation of the thesis, the student will strive for stylistic and grammatical purity, will respect the rules of authorial ethics, will observe the rules for direct and indirect quotations.

Teacher's information
The student is obliged to consult the assignment of the bachelor thesis and its processing with the assigned supervisor. The student is obliged to upload all materials for consultation to the submission room of the course in IS (always to the submission room of his/her thesis supervisor) continuously during the semester.
